FORENSIC LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
The Hamilton County Coroner’s Laboratory, a full service ASCLD/LAB accredited laboratory of about 20 people, is seeking an entry level Forensic Laboratory Technician. The technician will be responsible for performing selected routine casework in the drug analysis, toxicology, and trace evidence sections of the laboratory, as well as providing expert witness testimony. In addition, this position involves performing accessioning duties as a toxicology lab aide. Qualifications include a minimum of a bachelor's degree in forensic science, chemistry, or other natural science from an accredited university. The technician will be required to comply with all safety, quality control, and other administrative criteria of the ASCLD/LAB accreditation program. Bode Technology is seeking applicants for the position of Research Scientist 1. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree plus one year of research experience in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry or other related field. Must have a working knowledge of Human STR methods, DNA sequencing methods, and basic biochemistry techniques. Prior research experience preferred. Molecular systematics knowledge preferred. Security clearance preferred, but not required. U.S. citizenship required. This position performs research for U.S. government contracts relating to the DNA identification of humans, plants, animals, and bacteria. FORENSIC BIOLOGIST/SEROLOGIST
The Arkansas State Crime Laboratory has two openings for Forensic Biologist/Serologist positions.
The minimum requirement is a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry or closely-related field.
Job duties include analysis/identification of body fluids, collection of trace evidence materials, etc. The salary is negotiable.

- a Bachelor's degree in a natural science such as biology, chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, physics, forensic science, pharmacology, bacteriology, or a closely related field.
Preference may be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or physics depending on the forensic discipline(s) required when filling a position.
